Line 1
Group exhibition
The exhibition Line 1 presents the works of five artists—students pursuing undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. Their artistic practices and approaches to modes of expression are diverse; hence, this exhibition does not have a unifying conceptual framework, but rather offers a possible cross- section of the young artists’ art scene in Belgrade, providing insight into what captivates their interest and attention.

Vladimir Milanović
The “cornerstones” of creation, as the artist describes the artifacts of his continuous research activities, represent in fact those special positions of support or significant turning points within the creative process, which are often crucial for Milanović in terms of direction and conceptualization of subsequent stages of technical realization or opening up new ideational perspectives.

Jigsaw puzzles
Dragoslav Krnajski
After four decades of Dragoslav Krnajski’s persistent presence on our art scene, it has become apparent that activism constitutes an indivisible part of his creative identity, and that the discourse of artistic activism cannot be separated from the broader concept of social engagement in the artist’s life – they function together as inhale and exhale, complementing and intertwining with each other.

Gazing at the Universe
Neša Paripović
My entire approach to artistic work starts from the moment I left painting. It was a crucial moment. I have worked with other media, quite different from painting, made a few films, took photographs, and made conceptual profiles, yet concealed within this was something very crucial. This pertains to a philosophical narrative regarding the genesis of works, that is, how philosophers formulate their discoveries. They do not do so by production. There is no production in philosophy in contrast to painting that was massively produced. Produced as in a factory.

The Diary
Mileta Prodanović
With these drawings, Prodanović combined his two strong creative streams - literary and artistic, verbal and visual. Namely, with its composition, each individual page resembles a page of a manuscript or a book, whose rich content we read intuitively, unencumbered by the limitations of language codes. We recognize certain similarities with the phenomenon of “asemic writing”, a hybrid art form that combines text and image into a single whole, defined as “an open semantic form of writing without the use of words”, where a vacuum of meaning opens up, giving the observer the freedom of its fulfillment and interpretation.

Manifestos
Marko Pogačnik
It’s time to discover the art of transformation. Transformation is not a simple change, transformation involves a quantum leap. Zdravko Joksimović
By introducing poetic language as an essential conceptual element and interpretive key for his work, the artist does not intend to put the observers in a situation where they have to figure out some kind of dubious content from the ultimate metaphorical and allegorical images, on the contrary his intention is to perceptually and mentally provoke observers into thinking about the changeable nature of the world that surrounds them by making simple, playful, often witty dramatic intrigues of shapes, colors, functions, use of used materials and objects.

Within that space, we distinguished what can be called presence, the artwork's structure and absence, what that empty space could suggest, what is left for us as viewers to discover. Gaze Into Infinity
Saša Pančić
These (let's call them abstract) paintings clearly testify to the artist’s continuous artistic experiment, which strives to achieve progress, both in the spatial and conceptual sense. Pančić now leaves the blackness and density of the uterine world and goes to brighter, chromatically playful organic forms, paying homage to the painting of Tashism, which he skillfully incorporated into the unifying artistic experiment of his research on modernism in the 1960s and which is now enriched by personal psychic and meditative moods.
